How should I prepare for a session?

Our work will only be effective long-term if you are taking good care of yourself.  Water, good food, sleep and exercise are negotiable.

Castor Oil Packing and Pelvic Steaming before our first meeting and between sessions will increase our work's effectivity. I will send you instructions if needed.

Please do not use  moisturizers, creams or oils within 4 hours of our meeting. Come without face makeup.

If you have a belly button piercing it will need to be taken out during our work.

Sessions can be done fully nude or with underwear, as feels best for you. You cannot wear an underwire bra however. Please come with loose tank top if you prefer to wear something over your breasts.

Is this massage therapy?

No.  Womb Continuum Care is manual therapy that integrates several different modalities hands-on modalities and aims to create lasting structural change in your body, not just immediate relief.

Unlike typical massage therapy, you are an active participant in the work, and we work layer by layer, with each session building on itself. This opening and change happens with your participation on the table and between sessions.

Question 3

Can I receive the work when I'm bleeding?

Yes! Getting work while bleeding is a very special experience and can support easeful cycles.

Question 4

What do I need to do if I'm actively trying to conceive?

Accepted Answer

Womb Continuum Care is wonderfully supportive in the conception process. I recommend taking several months before conceiving to receive this work, which will support in preparing your body for pregnancy and birth.

If you are actively trying, schedule appointments before ovulation. We won't do work in the period post-ovulation to potential implantation.

What is your cancellation policy ?

Cancellation Policy: 
You may cancel up to 48 hours before your appointment for a full refund.

If you cancel 48-24 hours before your deposit is non-refundable. If you reschedule your deposit will roll over to your next appointment

If you cancel less than 24 hours, you are responsible for half the price of your missed session.

If there is an absolute emergency, we'll  of course figure something out the works for both of us ☺️

How many meetings until I see change?

Accepted Answer

There is no guarantee that shifts will come in a given amount of time.  For most women coming to address specific complaints,  the minimum I recommend is 6 sessions.

That said this work best seen as for life. In traditional Mexican  medicine women see womb practitioners monthly from the time of their first bleed.

Depending on what we're working with and how long you've been experiencing your symptoms, your body may require a longer process.

Your active participation outside of sessions through maintaing daily beneficial lifestyle habits -- nourishment, movement, self-touch and pelvic tending -- will contribute to how your body changes and holds the work we do together.
